NCC witnessed growth of 35 per cent girl cadets in last few years: Narendra Modi

Narendra Modi also asked the NCC cadets to inspire people around them to follow discipline in society, as it will help the country and the society to grow.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday addressed the National Cadet Corps (NCC) rally here and said that the youth wing of India's armed forces has witnessed a 35 per cent increase in the number of girl cadets in the last few years.
Modi also asked the NCC cadets to follow discipline throughout their lives. Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat and the three armed service chiefs were also present during the occasion.
