A day after Narendra Modi filed his nomination papers from Vadodara in which he declared that Jashodaben was indeed his wife, the Nationalist Congress Party spokesperson Nawab Malik slammed the BJP prime ministerial candidate. He added that he would also be approaching the Election Commission to cancel Modi's nomination from Vadodara on charges of forgery.
"In the past, Modi has always said that he was an unmarried. But while filing his nomination from Vadodara, he declared Jashodaben as his wife. He has cheated the entire nation," said an irate Malik during a press conference at Aapte Road.
