NCW to probe ex-flight attendant's suicide

India's apex women rights panel will investigate the case of a 23-year-old former flight attendant committing suicide here and blaming Haryana minister Gopal Kanda for taking the extreme step, Union Women and Child Welfare Minister Krishna Tirath Sunday said.
"We will send this case to National Commission for Women (NCW) for investigation I will write a letter to the chief minister of Haryana (Bhupinder Singh Hooda)," Tirath told reporters. Delhi Police has registered a case of abetment to suicide against the Haryana Minister of State for Home.
Hooda had earlier in the day said that "appropriate action" would be taken in the case.
