The Opposition on Wednesday interrupted Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju's statement on the alleged NEET paper leak in the Lok Sabha, prompting Speaker Om Birla to urge members to participate in a detailed discussion inside the House instead of disrupting proceedings.

As soon as the Lok Sabha reassembled at noon after an earlier adjournment, Birla invited Rijiju to make a statement on the issue. However, Congress leader KC Venugopal intervened, reiterating the Opposition's demand for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
