Over 12,000 suggestions were received out of which Amit Anand&rsquo;s entry won the first prize. Anand was awarded Rs 50,000 for coining the term. Apart from him, eight other participants were also presented cash awards. Delhi has seen tremendous changes over the past few years and is at par with other world-class cities. Delhi Tourism has played a vital role in bringing this change and this initiative of introducing a tagline will surely bring in heavy dividends in terms of promoting Delhi as a destination. Prominent Delhi ministers like AK Walia, Haroon Yusuf, Raj Kumar Chauhan and Prof. Kiran Walia, the Chief Secretary DM Spolia, Principal Secretary to CM Dr MM Kutty, DTTDC Chairman Manish Chatrath, MD GG Saxena, along with directors in the DTTDC and other eminent persons were also present on the occasion.
