Nine Maoists gunned down in Chhattisgarh

As many as nine Maoists were on Tuesday killed in a fierce gunfight with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers in the rebels' stronghold in a forested pocket of Chhattisgarh's violence-hit Bastar region, police said.

As many as nine Maoists were on Tuesday killed in a fierce gunfight with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers in the rebels' stronghold in a forested pocket of Chhattisgarh's violence-hit Bastar region, police said.
The killings were reported from Jagargunda area of Dantewada district. The casualty site is located over 500 km from here.
