It was expected that Congress city leaders would take to the city's roads in big way to condemn Arvind Kejriwal's allegations against Congress President Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra.
But, not a single senior Congress leader was present at the city unit ‘s demonstration that was called yesterday. Only 25 junior-level party activists were present at the stir at Alaka Talkies Chowk.
Kejriwal had made serious allegations against Vadra and Union Law Minister Salman Khurshid in the last two days. Kejriwal has alleged that Vadra had been given property worth Rs 300 crore by DLF in a series of suspicious transactions and was also demanding Khurshid’s resignation following allegations of financial irregularities worth Rs 71 lakh by his trust that was meant for physically challenged persons.
