<p>   After Bandra eateries faced shutdowns, it&rsquo;s time for Ghatkopar&rsquo;s khau galli. Pic/Sameer Markande</strong></p>  <div>   The authorities demolished illegal structures of two popular juice centres in the area that operate beyond the permissible time limits. Pramod Khedkar, assistant municipal commissioner (N-ward), said, &ldquo;On Wednesday afternoon, we knocked down two structures. We also seized tables and chairs. We shall take strict action against these illegal hawkers and eateries.&rdquo;</div>  <div>   u00a0</div>  <div>   The demolition drive was the result of a signature campaign that residents of the area had begun. &ldquo;It is a nightmare to travel in the area or even drive as these eateries serve people on the roads. It is not only Bandra or Juhu people who are facing this menace,&rdquo; complained a Ghatkopar resident.u00a0</div>  <div>   u00a0</div>  <div>   Falguni Dave, corporator and the one who initiated the signature campaign, added that the residents were fed up of the nuisance that the hawkers made as they worked beyond the permissible time limits. &ldquo;It was only after a long discussion that the signature campaign began,&rdquo; she added.u00a0</div>  <div>   u00a0</div>  <div>   Dave further elaborated that residents in the area would not rest till they ensured that all the eateries were shut and would patrol the area and force closures till all of them had stopped.</div>
