Hours after a woman died of swine flu in Mumbai on Saturday evening, a 42-year-old teacher succumbed to the disease here.

Sanjay Tukaram Kokre, who was admitted on Friday to government-run Sassoon Hospital here, was in a critical condition. Hospital sources said Kokre, a schoolteacher from a nearby village, was put on ventilator after his condition deteriorated but he later died. With Kokre's death, the total number of deaths here has climbed to two.
