The makeshift hospital is housed in the employees' quarters and lacks proper facilities & doctors; the main building has been under construction for the past 4 years
The only Employees’ State Insurance Scheme (ESIS) Hospital in Navi Mumbai is in a deplorable condition with no proper facilities and no doctors. There are 4 lakh card-holding ESIS employees working in the vicinities of Thane and Belapur, and the only hospital they have near their quarters in Vashi’s Sector 5 is in a poor condition and may shut down. It is a make-shift hospital housed in a four-storey structure with several cracks.
