Jammu: An Indian national was handed over by Pakistani Army in Jammu as a goodwill gesture.

"Muhammad Rashid, son of Sattar Din Poonch district's Degwar Teruan village who claimed to have inadvertently crossed over to Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) on June 12, was handed over to Indian authorities on Wednesday evening," a defence spokesman told IANS on Thursday.

"The individual has been handed over to police for further interrogation."

"Rashid's father Sattar Din had registered a First Information Report (FIR) with the police about the incident," the official added.
