Jammu: Panic gripped Indian villages along the international border in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday evening as heavy firing exchanges took place again between the Pakistan Rangers and the Border Security Force (BSF), officials said.

The Pakistan Rangers have been resorting to unprovoked firing in R.S. Pura sector of the international border in Jammu district since Wednesday, they said.
