Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced hiking remuneration for rural health workers with effect from October.
The announcement was made during Modi's interaction with Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA), Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) and Anganwadi workers from across the nation via a live video conference.
