Taking to social media platform X, Modi praised Dhami&rsquo;s work and wished him a long and healthy life.

Uttar Pradesh <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/up-cm-yogi-adityanath-to-campaign-in-mumbai-for-ujjwal-nikam-police-issues-traffic-advisory-for-motorists-in-kurla-23349704" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath</a> also conveyed his birthday greetings to Dhami and prayed for his health and longevity.

<h2>Dhami&rsquo;s political journey</h2>
Born on September 16, 1975, Dhami is a BJP leader who has served as Uttarakhand Chief Minister since July 4, 2021.
He has represented the Champawat Assembly constituency since 2022. Before that, he represented Khatima in the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly from 2012 to 2022.
Dhami lost the Khatima seat in the 2022 Assembly elections but was retained as chief minister by the BJP leadership. He later returned to the state Assembly after winning the Champawat by-election.
Dhami subsequently became the first chief minister of Uttarakhand to serve two consecutive terms.
