Police arrest doctor who sought bribe from policeman for issuing sick leave certificate

A doctor at the State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) Hospital in Wanowrie in Pune was arrested on Thursday by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for allegedly accepting Rs 350 bribe from a policeman for issuing medical certificate for sick leave.
The doctor has been identified as Dr Namdev Laxman Patil.
