When one talks of policemen, the general impression is of tough-talking men ever busy looking for ways to outsmart the smartest of criminals. However, for a young woman and her boyfriend in Delhi, who were estranged for some reason, the policemen played the perfect matchmakers to get them hitched for life after pacifying them.

South-East DCP RP Meena said that the 24-year-old woman had approached Govindpuri police station to lodge a complaint about injuries she had suffered. However, police officials soon realised that the injuries were self-inflicted.
