In a bid to ensure that government officials do not spend money not in proportionate to their salaries, a new amendment has been made to the money laundering act in Goa

Politicians, judges, military officers as well as bureaucrats with a gambling fetish need to beware now. A new amendment to the Prevention of Money Laundering Act in Goa now mandates all casinos in the state to keep tabs on lawmakers, judicial officers as well as civilian and military officials in order to ensure that they do not spend money unproportionate to their salaries.
