A powerful bomb blast triggered by suspected militants derailed three bogies of the Barak Valley Express today in central Assam's North Cachar Hills district, where an indefinite bandh by the DHD(Nunisa) was on.

Casualties, if any, were not immediately known as the incident occurred in a remote area.
