The city received considerably less rainfall than predicted by the IMD; the BMC has cut water in some parts of the city in case the amount of rainfall is not adequate this year

The Indian Meteorological Department has done it yet again. It was wrong in its predictions about the amount of rainfall the city received between June 1 and June 5 in the form of pre-monsoon showers.
