Punjab CM hands over appointment letters to 27 family members of farmers who died during farm law agitation

Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Tuesday handed over appointment letters of government jobs to 27 family members of the farmers who lost their lives in the agitation against the three farm laws.

Calling farmers the backbone of the economic structure of the state, the Chief Minister said that the Punjab government would always undertake every possible step to ensure the welfare of the victim families.
