The Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav, while posting on social media platform X, said, "In a major breakthrough, Gurdaspur Police arrests two accused -- Lovedeep Singh, alias Love, and Tek Chand, alias Tinku – who are being handled by foreign-based radicalised gangsters Gurdev Jassal and Gurlal, alias Gullu, associated with the Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorist organisation."

During the significant outbreak, the Punjab police have also recovered three .32 calibre pistols with live cartridges from the accused, as per PTI.
In view of countering terror activities across the border region, the agencies have been extremely vigilant.
