Quake jolts northeast India

A slight intensity earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale shook India's northeast today morning. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage to property.

The quake occurred at 6.53 am.
According to the Regional Seismological Centre here, the epicentre was in Assam's Darrang district.
