Rahul Gandhi accuses Centre of hurting MSMEs with transport ministry rules

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi alleged that transport ministry regulations are hurting small-scale industries and claimed the Centre's 'Make in India' and 'Vocal for Local' initiatives are only slogans.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday alleged that regulations framed by the transport ministry were stifling small-scale industries across the country, and asserted that Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises of India (MSMEs) that ought to be supported were being “deliberately strangled”. 

Gandhi also alleged that “Make in India” and “Vocal for Local” were merely slogans by the government.
