Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will appear before a special court in Bengaluru on Friday in relation to a defamation case filed by the Karnataka BJP, reported PTI. The party filed a case against Gandhi for issuing allegedly defamatory advertisements in mainstream newspapers.
The commercial released prior to the previous year's assembly polls charged the state's then-BJP government of widespread corruption throughout its 2019–2023 term in office.
