Amit Srivastava, Mohammed Suleman, Bijay Kumar, Suneela Chopra and Satish Chauhan are some of the prominent names on the list.u00a0 The underlying message is that we have been using the dreaded 'R' word more often than needed. The high-spirited artworks are positive enough to make you forget about the doom for a while. If that's not enough, the affordable prices will also prove a pleasing add-on. Riding high on a rick Amit Srivastava's work uses the good ol' rickshaw puller as a protagonist. "A few years back, the rickshaw was the main means of transportation. With the recession, this medium remains unaffected to a large extent. Also, the life of a rickshaw puller is content and rich in its own way, regardless of the economic condition," quips the artist, encouraging one to take cue.Amit has used bright colours in his mixed media on paper works. Krishna calling This apart, artist Mohammed Suleman has portrayed Lord Krishna in various roles a god-child, a prankster, a model lover, a divine hero and the Supreme. Suleman has portrayed Krishna in a very versatile way, and with minimum colour combinations, to project an image of grace and timeless divinity. "Also, art is something which is beyond the sensibilities of words, so in a way we are celebrating art as a whole through this exhibition," signs off the artist.
