Relax loudspeaker deadline for all of Ganeshotsav: MLA

BJP MLA Madhuri Misal has urged the state police, the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) and the Home Department to relax the ban on the use of loudspeakers after 10 pm during the 10 days of the Ganeshotsav.

She said that Ganesh mandals should be allowed to use loudspeakers till midnight on all 10 days.
As matters stand so far, such relaxation is given on only three days, these being the fifth day of the festival, the Gauri immersion day and Anant Chaturdashi, which is the last day of Ganeshotsav.
