Roadside Romeo convicted for targeting cops

A Delhi court has held guilty a Roadside Romeo for outraging the modesty of policewomen in 2005. Haryana resident Vinod was arrested for uttering indecent words and making obscene gestures to two lady cops on duty
A Delhi court has held guilty a Roadside Romeo for outraging the modesty of policewomen in 2005. Haryana resident Vinod was arrested for uttering indecent words and making obscene gestures to two lady cops on duty.
The incident dates back to September 23, 2005, when Vinod approached the two women head constables, waiting at a bus stand in Mangolpuri area. Vinod stopped his scooter near the bus stand and began uttering indecent and obscene words and making vulgar gestures.
The man, in his defence, said while he was riding his scooter, he got some irritation in his eyes and when he stopped near a bus stand, cops came and apprehended him.
