At the end of his career, former governor and political leader Zulfiqar Haider (Farooq Shaikh) is taken aback when someone called Soniya (Sonali Bendre) from France starts writing to him from France. She's searching her roots. With her venomous accusations and rigorous pursuit, she creates confusion, quaking his languorous life of content. The two characters interact with each other through letters, leading to an exchange of hate mail. What ensues is an evolution of a relationship in spite of the hatred, through a common bond between the two.
