India to host BRICS Foreign Ministers’ meeting on May 14-15

India will host the BRICS Foreign Ministers’ Meeting on May 14-15 under its 2026 chairmanship. The meet will be chaired by EAM S. Jaishankar and will focus on global and regional issues, followed by sessions on governance reforms and cooperation

India is set to host the BRICS Foreign Ministers’ Meeting on May 14 and 15 under its chairmanship of the influential grouping for 2026. The high-level meeting will be chaired by India’s External Affairs Minister, S. Jaishankar.
As per the official statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs on May 12, India will see participation from BRICS Foreign Ministers and Heads of Delegation from both member and partner countries.
