Officials of the Crime Branch recently conducted a narco analysis test on Assistant Police Inspector Anil Behrani of the NRI police station in Navi Mumbai for his role in the Sandhya Singh murder case. Behrani came under the scanner after officials of the Cyber Cell scrutinised Singh&rsquo;s call records and discovered that the two had exchanged calls on a regular basis. <img alt="Sandhya Singh" src="http://images.mid-day.com/2013/apr/Sandhya-Singh.jpg" style="width: 350px; height: 225px;" /> Sandhya Singh A Cyber Cell official said, &ldquo;Since we have not been able to extract the exact information from Behrani, we subjected him to narco analysis test.&rdquo; Sources in the Crime Branch claimed that Behrani is well versed with police strategies and seemed reluctant in sharing useful piece of information that could help the investigators. Behrani first met Singh after a robbery took place at her residence in November 2012. Investigators started questioning Behrani on the insistence of Singh&rsquo;s family, after investigation into the murder case revealed that the duo had been in touch with each other on a regular basis. When contacted, Behrani said, &ldquo;I will help the investigating authorities in every possible way.&rdquo; The case Sandhya Singh went missing on December 13. She had gone to deposit jewellery worth Rs 20 lakh at a Nerul bank. Later, a British birdwatcher led the police to a skeleton in the marshes off Delhi Public School on Palm Beach Road on January 28. A day later, Singh&rsquo;s family members claimed that they were her remains. The claim was made on the basis of the articles recovered from the spot where the skeleton was found.u00a0
