Soon after Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut hurled abuses at party rebel MPs, he defended himself, saying that such expressions are common in Marathi and are directed at those who betray their party for money.

Sanjay Raut, while responding to criticism over his remarks, said that there was nothing inappropriate about the language he had used.
