Kolkata: The Calcutta High Court Monday granted bail to Trinamool Congress leader and former IPS officer Rajat Majumdar who had been behind bars for his alleged complicity in the multi-crore rupee Saradha scam.

Majumdar became the first Trinamool leader to be arrested when he was nabbed by the Central Bureau of Investigation Sep 9, 2014. He was granted bail by the bench of Justice Subhro Kamal Mukherjee and Justice Indrajit Chatterjee.
