Kolkata: Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP Srinjoy Bose was today arrested by CBI after a marathon interrogation for five hours for his alleged involvement in the multi-crore Saradha chit fund scam.

The central agency also quizzed West Bengal Textiles Minister Shyamapada Mukherjee in connection with sale of shares of a cement plant to Saradha Group chief Sudipto Sen, and former Trinamool Congress MP Somen Mitra during the day.
