Eighty five year-old spiritual leader Satya Sai Baba continues to be critical as authorities rushed in forces to the pilgrim town of Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh.u00a0Around 1,500 policemen were mobilised from different parts of the state. This is in addition to the 3,000 policemen already deployed in the town. Bomb disposal and dog squadsu00a0 conducted searches on Saturday around the airport, hospital and Prashanti Nilayam as part of security arrangements for VIPs likely to arrive. Anxious devotees continue to pour in as they join prayers at Prashanti Nilayam for the spiritual leader's recovery. Satya Sai Baba has been undergoing treatment for the last 26 days owing to the malfunctioning of vital organs.
