The Supreme Court on Friday banned mining activities in Aravalli hill ranges in Haryana.

A special forest bench headed by Chief Justice KG Balakrishnan said that there will be no mining activity in the Aravalli hill ranges falling in Faridabad and Gurgaon district of Haryana.
