A student jumped off the first floor of his school building and suffered injuries after he was allegedly scolded by the principal.

Atul Singh, a Class XI student of Saint Gabriel School at Ranjhi near here, took the step after he was scolded by Principal George Joseph for some wrongdoing in the classroom, City Superintendent of Police Guruprasad Parasher said.
