Srinagar: The security forces conducted searches near the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri Sector of north Kashmir as the operation between the Army and the militants entered the third day today with no reports of fresh casualty on either side.

"The operation is going on. However, there have been no fresh casualty," a senior Army officer said, adding there was no fresh firing today and the security forces were conducting search operations in the area.
