This is not the first time Delhi schools have been targeted. In July, multiple institutions, including Richmond Global School in Paschim Vihar, the Sovereign School in Rohini, Modern International School in Dwarka, and Heritage School in Rohini, received similar emails. Security teams, including the Fire Department and bomb disposal units, were deployed in response.
Richmond Global School Principal Moupali Mitra recalled how they had immediately alerted the Commissioner of Police after receiving a threat email. “We received the mail at 10:52 AM and informed the Commissioner by 10:58 AM. The bomb squad and cyber teams arrived promptly. Every corner of the school was checked, and it was declared safe.
