She just couldn&rsquo;t bear the trauma and collapsed on the road,&rdquo; he said. Dundage added that their neighbours took her to the hospital. Rehmatbi had three sons; two died three years ago. Her only surviving child, who is breadwinner for the family, works as mechanic in a local garage. Dundage also alleged that the PMC officials were selective when it came to demolishing illegl structures. &ldquo;The house belonging to those who had contacts with local politicians and builders were spared,&rdquo; he said. When contacted, Rajendra Raut, executive engineer of PMC&rsquo;s building development department, said, &ldquo;During the demolition drive we heard that a lady had suffered a heart attack. We stalled the work on humanitarian grounds and removed the JCB machine from the area.&rdquo; No sooner the news spread, the situation in the area became tense. As many as 80 police personnel were deployed to avert any untoward incident.u00a0
