Thane: Nearly 250 senior citizens from the district's Kalyan town who have been associated with Shiv Sena since its formation were honoured at a function in Thane.

The elders, who were 60 years of age and above, were given shawl and 'srifal' at the function last night, besides a trophy bearing the picture of Sena supremo late Bal Thackeray.
