Gauri Deshmukh (28), an event manager from Pune was heartbroken with the Shiv Sena's protests aimed at stalling the release of SRK-starrer My Name is Khan. After waiting for an entire week for the protests to die down, Deshmukh has decided to fly to some other city to watch the film.
Flying high
Deshmukh spent Rs 3,500 for her air ticket to Bangalore on Thursday evening. She expects to reach in time to catch the 3pm show in a city multiplex today. "I had initially decided to visit Bangalore on February 20 but I could not contain my excitement and become so restless that I have finally asked a friend to buy a ticket so I could watch the movie on the day it is scheduled to release," said Deshmukh.
Kuchh bhi karega
A diehard SRK fan, Deshmukh, says no sacrifice is too great for watching a Shah Rukh Khan film. "I hope everything calms down by Monday. I would love to watch the film with my friends in Pune next week. I have not missed a single SRK film till date and I always watch it more than once," said Deshmukh.
