Sadhanaji was a very private person. The only ever public interface she had was to safeguard her home for her foster child and it is through this we came close and became friends. Our relationship grew so wonderfully that I felt as if I was defending my very own.

Even when we visited the police or lawyer, she spoke about her ordeal as a senior citizen. She did not seek sympathy, but fought for her right as a senior citizen. She was always accompanied by her help Flora and foster daughter (Flora&rsquo;s daughter).
I remember when I requested her to walk the ramp for my Cancer Patients show she said, &ldquo;I have not been on stage for 40 years.&rdquo;

She agreed to do it for the cause, with her famous Sadhana cut hairstyle and the 10,000 audience gave her a standing ovation.
Sadhana ji will always be a star, forever alive in our memories.
