Itanagar: Shakuntala Doley Gamlin, a 1984-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as Chief Secretary of Arunachal Pradesh replacing Ramesh Negi.

Negi, who is also from AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram-Union Territories) cadre of 1984 batch , has been transferred to the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) with immediate effect, a Union Home Ministry notification said yesterday.
