<p><a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/Shehnaaz+Gill-all" rel="none">Shehnaaz Gill&rsquo;s</a> father Santok Singh Sukh, was shot at by two unidentified armed men late on Saturday (December 25) evening in Amristar.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Santok Singh Sukh had recently joined the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP).</p>
<p>The incident occurred on Saturday at around 8:30 pm, when two men who were on a bike fired at Sukh while he was heading back from an event in Amritsar, reports claimed. Four gunshots were fired at him. However, the two men ran away and couldn&rsquo;t be captured. Sukh escaped unhurt in the firing.</p>
<p>After the incident, Sukh immediately informed the local police. A case has been registered at Jandiala Guru police station.</p>
<p>The Station House Officer at Jandiala Guru police station said that the police recovered four empty shells from the spot, Amarujala reported.</p>
