Six students seeking donations 'on behalf of Rotaract' booked

Cops recover fake receipt books, stamp
Six college students, including a woman, have been booked for collecting donations from people on JM Road for orphans and the elderly by posing as Rotaract Club members. Officials of the Deccan Gymkhana police station recovered fake receipt books and a fake stamp of the Rotaract Club, Parvati division, from the six.
The six were identified as Rajesh Bhushan, Saurabh Tiwari, Ashish Kaul, Tuhin Shriwastava, Ashish Shriva-stava and Ravisha Rana, all aged between 21 and 25 years. The police said the group of students from a reputable college in the city sought donations ranging from Rs 20 to Rs 300 from commuters near Balgandharva auditorium on JM Road.
