Skyroot Aerospace, a private space launch company, has successfully raised USD 60 million (approximately Rs 571 crore) from a diverse group of investors, including Ram Shriram’s Sherpalo, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC, and BlackRock, becoming India’s first space-tech unicorn.

This funding, announced on May 7, elevates Skyroot’s valuation to USD 1.1 billion, a significant increase from its valuation of around USD 519 million in 2023.
