Skywalk in Rabale draws criticism over stuffy lifts

After the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) spent Rs 1.95 crore and laboured for three years, the skywalk connecting Rabale railway station to the MIDC area was finally inaugurated on Monday. However, soon after it was thrown open to public, Thane’s MP Sanjeev Naik raised concerns over problems of ventilation in the elevator set up for physically challenged commuters.
