Sonia Gandhi discharged from AIIMS

Congress president Sonia Gandhi, who was admitted to the AIIMS here Monday night after she complained of uneasiness in the Lok Sabha, has been discharged from the hospital, a senior doctor said

Gandhi was discharged around 1.30 a.m. Tuesday after undergoing several tests, All India Institute of Medical Sciences director R.C. Deka told reporters here.

He added that the Congress president was suffering from fever and headache for which she took medicines. "The medicines did not suit her due to which she suffered uneasiness in the Lok Sabha," Deka said, adding that Gandhi's test results were found normal after which she was discharged from the hospital.
