The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC) has announced a special religious tourism package titled ‘Sri Rameswaram–Tirupati Dakshin Darshan Yatra’ which will offer devotees and travellers a spiritually enriching journey through South India. The tour will be conducted via the Bharat Gaurav Special Tourist Train and comprise 10 days and nine nights from Nasik on November 7. It will conclude on November 16.
The train will follow a scenic route passing through Kalyan, Karjat, and Pune, with multiple boarding and de-boarding at Nashik, Devlali, Igatpuri, Kalyan, Karjat, Lonavala, Pune, Daund, Kurduwadi, Solapur, and Kalaburagi stations.
The itinerary covers prominent religious and cultural destinations:
Tirupati: Lord Venkateshwaran Swami Temple & Goddess Padmavati Temple
Rameswaram: Ramanathaswamy Temple & Dhanushkodi
Madurai: Meenakshi Temple
Kanyakumari: Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Gandhi Mandapam & Kanniakumari Temple
Thiruvananthapuram: Padmanabhaswamy Temple & Kovalam Beach

Economy (Sleeper Class): Rs 18,040 for adults, Rs 16,890 for children (five to 11 years)
Standard (3AC): Rs 30,370 for adults, Rs 29,010 for children
Comfort (2AC): Rs 40,240 for adults, Rs 38,610 for children
The package includes the train journey in the selected class (SL / 3AC / 2AC), accommodation in budget hotels (AC/Non-AC), onboard and offboard vegetarian meals, local sightseeing by AC/Non-AC buses, and wash & change facilities at select locations.
