Students of second and third year degree courses would be a part of the campaign that will last from 9 am to 2 pm. “The issues we’re dealing with are serious and awareness campaign for commuters is a must. The number of deaths due to stunts, and cases of molestation, are increasing with each passing day,” said Padma Dhamne, director of NGO Giants International.u00a0

Apart from travelling in groups, students would be seen standing at stations holding placards. They would also be interacting with commuters, informing them about the hazards of travelling on footboards or performing stunts in moving trains. Ten slogans have been finalised for the campaign.
